Ps. 128:1 “ Blessed is everyone who fears the Lord, who walks in His ways.” (The promise is good to all born-again believers who live according to God’s Word. They fear Him as evidenced by walking in the ways of the Lord. A mark of those who are wicked though is: “There is no fear of God in their eyes “Ps. 36:1.They through unbelief or ignorance do not see ultimate accountability before the Lord. Their life of no fear of God is evidenced by not following the Lord and the evil things they do. Fear of God is not unhealthy. It motivates us to want to please the Creator of the universe and the ultimate giver of salivation or judgment according to our position in or without Christ. So why wouldnt you not fear Him? Life is bigger than you. It is held together by a divine plan and we are rescued from sin through this plan. To ignore it, scoff at it and live your life supposedly free from it only puts you in the place of having to face the one who holds our eternal destiny without any hope and without any grace from Him who you have spurned. The greatest surprise every human will have is the realization of their accountability toward God when they die whether they believe it or not in this life. It’s going to happen!. Heb. 9:27. But the one who fears God is aligned with His power and will receive that glorious eternal reward for all who love Him and have walked according to His ways. There are rewards in this life also such as protection from evil. The Creator as our refuge is the greatest life insurance and property damage of your life policy you can have. This is why it truly blessed to follow the Lord and His ways.)
