Ps 8:9 O LORD our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! Ps 36:7 How excellent is thy lovingkindness, O God! therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings. Heb 8:6 But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises. Php 1:10 That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ; Excellency is the highest degree of perfection, and God alone has the right to claim the title. But a high call goes out to all who profess Jesus Christ to approve things that are excellent. Nothing could be more noble and fulfilling then a life spent answering that call.
