Webster adds-..Having a leaning or tendency; disposed... Here it means that he has caused his heart to be disciplined to do the will of God and obey His Word. It means to be settled in ones mind to do something and resolved to carry it out. Reminds us of Psa 108:1-O God, my heart is fixed; I will sing and give praise, even with my glory. All doubts, vacillations, and laxness has been removed. He has turned his heart to fully obey the Word. Earlier in Psa. 119:10 and 119:58 he had testified to seeking with his whole heart That is the only way to go. His resolve is to do it unto the end. He had earlier resolved to do this also. See Psa. 119:33. The Christian life is not a 50 yard dash but a marathon of a lifetime. Matthew Henry adds-.... With constancy and perseverance. He would perform Gods statutes always, in all instances, in the duty of every day, in a constant course of holy walking, and this to the end, without weariness. This is following the Lord fully... Are we fully disposed to obey the Word for the duration? We can start today! God allows u turns and starting over! Praise the Lord!
