Psa. 73:24-Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory. The psalmist had just come through a time of great struggle and questioning. He was troubled at why the wicked prosper and the foolish thrive. He went to the house of God and found his answers. Then he retorted of his own life. He speaks of (1) Devotion-Thou... He used the pronoun in the sense of personal knowledge. He earlier speaks of-I am continually with Thee... and Thou has holden me... He know the One he spoke about. Do you know Jesus? and (2) Direction-...guide me with Thy counsel... Gods wisdom, counsel, teaching, and instruction were his. We have the Word of God, the Holy Spirit, the wisdom of Godly people, and prayers of fellow believers. We must be led by the Holy Spirit, and (3) Destiny-...afterward receive me to glory... Wow, can you beat a deal like that? He has saved us, is leading and providing now, and when our life is over here, will receive us unto Himself. (John 14:3). So today, dont let the detours distract you from His direction and your destiny!!! Hallelujah!!!
