Psalm 1:6—“For the Lord knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.” Isn’t it wonderful to know that God knows all? Sometimes that doesn’t seem so good, but that is only because we know we are in the wrong. But I am so thankful that God knows my heart. He knows I try to be like Him, He knows I want to be like Him, and He knows just what I need everyday. Psalm 37:18—“the Lord knoweth the days of the upright: and their inheritance shall be for ever.” 2 Timothy 2:19—“Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.” Isaiah 60”21—“The people also shall be all righteous: they shall inherit the land for ever, the branch of my panting, the work o my hands, that I may be glorifed.” God definitely wants to bless those that trust in Him. Reading these verses is an encouragement to me. Knowing that even though I fail, God doesn’t. He knows me, He is helping me, and because I am trusting in Him, He will reward me with the inheritance of His land. I hope this is encouraging to you as well. Just because we live in a world full of sin, and we try not to act like the world, we do fail, and we do disobey God. But, though all of that, God still loves us. He still cares about us, and because He knows us so well, He is willing to forgive our faults and move past all that. He wants to give us a blessing. We only have to trust Him. This week has been very encouraging to me. I hope it has for you too. I look forward to seeing what God is doing in your life as well as mine.
