Psalm 106 retraces the sordid history of Israel. Towards the end, - TopicsExpress

Psalm 106 retraces the sordid history of Israel. Towards the end, it records the monumental betrayal and spiritual treachery against the Lord. They rejected the ways of the Lord and adopted pagan works. Child sacrifice and the shedding of innocent blood was a common practice. Sodomites defiled the Temple as Israel played the harlot. The land was polluted as Gods wrath burned hot against His own people. What does God anger look like? Those who hate you, rule over you. Tyranny and unjust laws are the consequences for murdering babies and parading sin like Sodom. I hope this helps to understand the significance of the Obama administration and why America is imploding under his watch. He is Gods judgement upon our nation. Psalm 106, however, ends with a hope. When the people cried out to God in the midst of their bloody perversions and oppression, Gods Words declares: Nevertheless He regarded their affliction, When He heard their cry; And for their sake He remembered His covenant, And relented according to the multitude of His mercies. He also made them to be pitied By all those who carried them away captive. Save us, O Lord our God, and gather us from among the Gentiles, To give thanks to Your holy name, to triumph in Your praise. Blessed be the Lord God of Israel from everlasting to everlasting! And let all the people say, “Amen!” Praise the Lord! Gods anger is but for a moment, but His mercy lasts forever. American Chronicles 7:14 was birthed in the hope that Gods people would cry out to God in the midst of our idolatry and oppression. Perhaps, God would temper His judgments with mercy and judge us to restoration rather than what we deserve.
