Psalm 119 - My Interpretation Part Seven - Verses 49 thru 56 Remember Your words to me have brought me hope. They were my comfort during times of affliction. Even though I have faced division, still I have followed Your law. Your past judgment has brought me comfort. It horrifies me when the wicked forsake Your law. Your statutes have been the melody of my walk with You. In the night, in the darkness, I remember You. I have kept Your law. I have kept Your precepts. Thought for the Day: One dark day I got word that my son had overdosed on heroin. He was still alive, but for the first time I had lost all hope. He will die without Jesus! My heart was broken. I could not pray...I could only cry. I ended up on the doorstep of a very dear friend, Cathy Lord. I lay prostrate on her floor, broken and hopeless. She shared the scripture from Ezekiel about God changing his heart of stone to a heart of flesh. I stood up, my hope restored. Gods word really does bring hope and comfort!! Just a little bit extra... God did what He promised... My son now has a heart of flesh that beats to the tune of his Savior. A heart that reaches out to the lost. A heart for God!
