Psalm 128-John 5.As we were saying our good-byes, David repeated - TopicsExpress

Psalm 128-John 5.As we were saying our good-byes, David repeated the first verse of “God be with you till we meet again. By God’s counsels guide uphold you, with His sheep securely fold you:…Till we meet…Till we meet at Jesus’ feet…God be with you till we meet again”. He has been preparing for this business trip filling notebooks with documents to share with His siblings and shareholders in hopes of passing this business on. We are in our 80s and we are working on “putting our house in order” . I plan to do a turkey and freeze it have stored it for a number of months; wrapping Christmas gifts” , doing a pumpkin Roll with a grandchild; don’t think I will launder my Kitchen and hall curtains but I would like to, will see what all I get done “by God’s counsel guide, uphold you”. While David and I plan to do these things, We want to do it with this Scripture in mind, “Blessings on all who reverence and trust the Lord-on all who obey Him”. As I tackle the John 5 Scripture, I especially want to pay attention To how Jesus handled life in His Journey here on earth. He was going about doing good and there were those who were putting their trust in Him and recognizing that He was the Messiah, while at the same time the religious leaders of the day were accusing and harassing Him as a Sabbath Breaker and greatly disapproved His claims of He having the position of “I refer to the miracles I do; these have been assigned Me by My Father, they prove that the Father has sent Me. You search the Scripture…and the Scriptures point to Me”. Personally, I am searching the Scripture to learn more of the Son and with the Spirit illuminating The Word, I know that I am making progress in think like Jesus when worldly culture interferes with me living by God standards, it is teaching me how “How to walk in His ways and fear the Lord”. Again I like to think of the day God told me in such a clear Impression that the night of David being hospitalized for a near death experience in February of 2013, When I was seeking the meaning of “fear the Lord” and how to do it- Erma that is what you were doing when you said about David’s illness, “Father, I know You do all things well”. I was in the process of lifting my eyes upward and committing David’s life to the Heavenly Father. That has been a red-letter Day for me. That has made me search for other Scriptures that I can obey. I am still in the process of writing Scriptures that have the word “fear” in to my 5x7 Gray-Notebook and plan to have a new entry of a word or word-phrases, beginning 2014. This act has caused me to be worshipful to God when I submit something to the Lord instead of my own wish and desire holding God in reverential awe, and obedient respect which I know pleases my Heavenly Father. In this process I am transferring my trust to the Word of God. I know that it is the best thing to get God’s approval and not others whom I am journeying with here on earth. Let us together encourage each other to walk with God and contain the Love of God within and this makes us able to love others with His Love! Blessings to you is my prayer for you!
