Psalm 23:4 – Are You In A Valley Experience? Posted on January 29, 2014 by Minister Aiken REPOST! Psalm 23:4 – Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. VALLEY= any place, period, or situation that is filled with fear, gloom, foreboding, or the like: the valley of despair. The valley! Are you there? I guess many people would answer yes to that question if asked on today. Trouble is on every hand. People are experiencing one valley experience after another. The good new is “trouble don’t last always”! David give us proof of that on this morning. If you are in a valley experience on this morning, I have some good news for you. The valley is a temporary place. A tunnel that eventually ends with a light. A place where the presence of God is with you. You are not alone there. In this text, David is in a valley situation, but He is confident of God’s presence for he says “yea though I walk through (the key is through) the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil. Why? God is with him and comforts him, while leading and guiding him through his valley experience. God on the mountain is the same God in the valley. Nothing can separate us from God’s love, including the valley. We are indeed more than conquerors through Christ Jesus. Even in the valley, David says that God comforts Him with His rod and His staff. As God’s sheep, He promises us His provision, protection, His path, and His presence, even in the valley experiences of life. Psalm 27:10 – Even if my father and mother abandoned me, the LORD would take me in. Isaiah 40:29 – He gives strength to the weary, And to him who lacks might He increases power. ARE YOU IN A VALLEY EXPERIENCE? GOD IS THERE WITH YOU! He is the God of all comfort! God bless and do tell the Lord thank you that the valley is just a temporary place of passage on your way to blessings of maturity in Christ Jesus. I love you all with the love of Christ. Debra
