Psalm:23 The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his names sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Tho preparest a table before me in the presence of my enemies: thou anoinest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life. and I will dwell in the house of the lord forever. My heart is heavy this afternoon , just as any is when the news of someone close to you passes. Cory Scurry you were a brother, teammate, and someone I got the privilege to grow close with and I am honored that we got to have the experiences/ crazy times that we did together. Jerry Lynch, aka Grandpa, someone that I have the up-most respect and love for. Im not one to post about my true emotions or how I truly feel on social media, however I have lost two very close people to me this morning & there is one thing that I want everyone who reads this to honestly take a second to think about and really let this soak in, (& if you went to Boone HS you know exactly what I mean) it is that you need to grateful for the days that you are living, every day on this earth is a blessing. Stay close with those you care for & with those that care about you, you are loved whether you think about it or not, keep close with your friends and rejoice for the times that you get to share together and stay even closer with your family as those are the ones that will always be by your side. As the days that we get to live on this earth are numbered, those who follow Him can rest easy because the days that you get to spend in the Kingdom of Heaven are eternal.
