Psalm 37:25English Standard Version (ESV) 25 I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken or his children begging for bread. David made this statement as a reflection on His life. He had seen a trend in His life that involved the Lord’s faithfulness. He saw that the righteous were never forsaken and their children never begged for bread. David had seen this faithfulness as a young man and then to an old man. The faithfulness of the Lord never eluded David and never eluded the righteous around him. The Lord is faithful even when we are not faithful to Him. He does not judge us based on emotion, but He deals with us in His great righteousness. He loves you and He will never leave you. David saw a quality in the Lord and this quality is faithfulness. He is faithful when we are not and He is always there to bless us beyond our own reasoning. You do not have to earn His blessings, but just receive it from Him. The Lord loves you with a great love and His faithfulness will never elude you. When you feel you are not worthy for His faithfulness just remember that His love is beyond merit. David saw a quality in God and we can all see that faithfulness in our lives. The faithfulness of God overrides any situation we are in and any need we have in this life. Rest in the faithfulness of the Lord today because He is waiting to bless you beyond reason. #Heisfaithful
