Psalm 42:1 A white-tailed deer drinks from the creek; I want to drink God, deep draughts of God. Im thirsty for God-alive.(MSG) Good morning friend and welcome to another week. The Psalmist describes his appetite for God as the longing of the deer for water. There is a satisfaction that the water gives the deer that it cant substitute for anything; however, one thing that beats my imagination is that no matter the measure of water the deer drink, it never brings it to a point of everlasting satiety. How much of God have you drunken until this time? Have you come to a point of total satiety? Do you still have need of God? One thing Ive come to understand is that it is God that has placed such craving in the deer and man so that they can chase after water and God; thus whilst the deer is a water chaser, men ought to be God chasers. Unfortunately, spiritual anorexia has gripped us that we now seem to be satisfied with the fancies of Gods word or nothing at all rather than God Himself. I therefore pray that Dunamis capable of breaking that anorexia and reestablishing the craving for God would come upon you. Divine Desperate Desire (D3) is the password for accessing God. Its Monday.
