Psalm 50:15 Then call on me when you are in trouble, and I will rescue you, and you will give me glory. Holy Father, One beloved to You has momentous decisions to make. How can this one not need Your guidance and comfort at this time? Will You lead Your child to the path that is Your Will? You know well the strength and dedication of this lover of the light and that they will travel it no matter the difficulty…that is their capability. Yet Your Child is tired, Lord God, and still asks no boons for themselves in this matter…So I ask it for them of Your great compassion and love. Ease the road ahead of them, Beloved Father. Please, remove some of the stumbling blocks. All work done in this matter is to Your glory and to praise Your holy name. Father of Love, there is so much turmoil in the world right now…even my little corner of it. I see it on these pages and in my everyday life. People are afraid of what lies ahead…shamed by what has been done in the past and unsure as to what they should do today. What can I do, Lord God, to help them know they need to lay all burdens at Your feet…to turn to You in supplication? If I tell them in those words, I get the “Yeah? So…you are one of those…” looks and the complaints go on. I want to shake them and say “Yes! I am one of those and my life is joyous! Look at me!” I am not a patient woman, Holy Father…I am sorry. I feel Your love shining around me every day…are people blind they do not see it? In the midst of a broken heart, I felt your comfort falling over me like a fleecy cloak. Wracked by pain, I felt your healing touch, oh Great and Glorious Physician…all of these things because I asked and You knew my needs. Sweet Father, how can I show others this glory? Oh, Beloved Lord, if only they could see… Thank you, Lord God, for the joy in my life that you have filled so abundantly. In Your name always, I pray. Amen.
