(Psalms 139:14>17, c. 1058 B.C.) To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. “I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvelous are thy works; and that my soul knows right well. My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being *unperfect; *(unformed) and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them. How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! How great is the sum of them!” (Luke 1:41>42, c. A.D. 33) “And it came to pass, that, when Elisabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and Elisabeth was filled with the Holy Ghost: And she spoke out with a loud voice, and said, *Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb.”
