Public Safety. Sworn to serve and protect. Yes, I will be the first to admit there are dirty cops. There are dirty ANY person in public service. HOWEVER, in lieu of all the hate speeches and lumping together of ALL LEO, maybe people, I mean, public-sorry, should look into the daily lives of what LEO do and what they take with after shift. Not JUST LEO, but ANY PS- i.g.- Medic, FF, Dispatcher... We ALL have our weak moments. Public Safety is not a job just anyone can do and STAY with. Unfortunately, greed, power, and demands take the best of the best and turn some into complete monsters and usually we see these results on TV and how PS gets lumped together as a low class/dirty profession. There ARE more good guys out there than what you think. We often get overshadowed by the ones that are, in fact, doing wrong so it shines a negative light on us all. I am sure most of us get tired of seeing negative PS in the spotlight...I know I do. I absolutely LOVE working in PS, in all the many fields and levels I have been a party to. Long story short...dont lump all PS together with the ones that have gone astray. There ARE more good ones than you think...
