Public Service Announcement: Competition is inevitable in any business. If youre looking to build a brand, start a company, or just create a little extra income for yourself you have to be prepared to compete for your market share. There are those of us who compete with humor (I am one of those people), there are those who compete with financial resources, and there are those who compete with sheer bravado. Each of these things are effective in their own way, and each also are ineffective in their own way. If there were a 100% sure way to eliminate competition we would all be using right now. With that said, there is NO place in any spectrum of business that says its OK to threaten, harm, destroy, or be destructive to someone elses safety, well being, or property in the name of business. I want all of your event organizers who are coming up in our industry to understand that. I may compete with someone but its always done with a level of respect. I firmly believe that it makes us better, and those who can rise to the occasion as business leaders will reap the rewards in the long run. Those who dont...well...UPS is always hiring. I received news today that is troubling. That some people took it upon themselves to vandalize a competitors home out of sheer spite. Now, keep in mind that this individual is also a competitor of SOLEXCHANGE and I still would never condone that behavior. In the recent past someone put my home address on the internet. Not that it matters, my home address is on my business cards, and I invite a hundreds of people over a year to hang out, BBQ, and throw block-parties anyway, but the point it that if something were to happen to my home, or my family, or my friends, I would take it upon myself to handle that matter legally. I have already consulted with our attorney regarding this person putting my information out there and as of right now I have criminal mischief charge that is a class A felony because it was done online that I can file against them, their company, and their parents...I digress. What Im trying to say here is. This is BUSINESS. So keep it about business. YOU are NOT a GANG. You are NOT BUILT for PRISON. You and whoever else out there view our industry as a place to gather up masses and organize them are acting illegally. YOU have no place in our industry. You have no place at SOLEXCHANGE. My company does not condone that kind of behavior. We are here to serve a customer. Competition is just that..petition. Use it to perfect your craft, grow your business, and feed your family by working hard to prove to yourself that youve earned it. But those of you who are out there who think youre moving swiftly, youre wrong. Not only are you slowly becoming blackballed but more and more people are going to start moving away from you because at some point its just annoying to be around an angry person all of the time. humbly, Joe TSXC - Founder
