Today I CELEBRATE having lived through eight years of being diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. It has changed my life in so many ways...and almost always for the positive! I never knew when I was first diagnosed that diabetes would eventually lead me to find my passion for what I want to do with the rest of my life. Ive had my ups and downs for sure, but I am so thankful and blessed to still have a positive outlook on my life with diabetes. Happy Eighth Dia-birthday to me!
