Public notice : Thokoza water supply. On the mainline feeding the Palmietfontein reservoir we are experiencing a serious leak on our 700mm feeder line. This is presumable because of a serious stray current under the Eskom overhead lines. The line was isolated and excavated and we are busy to weld it. In the meantime the Palmietfontein reservoir ran almost empty and the water pressure in the Tokoza area is very low. We hope to have the pipe repaired in the next two hours and to feed the reservoir again. If everything goes well the water supply to Tokoza area should be back to normal tomorrow morning.
