Public opinion, articulated by Sunni religious leaders speaking from the birthplace of Islam, would be more powerful than bombs. The Muslim world should be embarrassed by the acts of barbarism committed by ISIS. Failure to condemn these brutal, publicized murders suggests that they are acceptable expressions of Islam. Failure to speak up, well articulated, is a learnt skill. Is our school system doing justice in this regard?
