Public service: I was being asked to probe on what has happened in Babatngon, just 24.7 km North-northwest of Tacloban City in Leyte. If you have any info please send us. I know that most of Tacloban City was engulfed by a massive 5-m (17 ft) Storm Surge on 08th of November 2013 at the height of Super Typhoon 31W/Yolanda. I am in search of a friends missing relatives there in Babatngon. They are the following: 1. Joel Alegro; 2. Linda Alegro; 3. Jan Clyde Alegro. Last known whereabout was at UP Compound in Tacloban City, Leyte. Also, we appeal for any information for any info on what has happened in Manlurip San Jose, Tacloban City, Leyte. Additional missing are the following: 1. Charisse Japson; 2. Rey Anthony Japson; 3. Rey Adrian Caburubias. We are trying to contact their last known mobile number but to no avail. Power and communications network may have been lost in the areas stipulated. The missing people may have been informed of the oncoming deluge and might have been relocated on higher ground. But to date we have no information about them. We can only pray for their safety and protection and hope that they can find a logical way to make contact with their worried relatives here in Iloilo City. If any of our fellow volunteers or officers here at COMMUNICATION AND WARNING GROUP- Oplan Ugnayan and allied group around the country, please share the information to help appease the anxiety and calm the nerves of the relatives of these missing people.
