Public service announcement for people who hate on Stannis because he killed Robb This isnt established so much in the show version to be fair, but in the books, Roose Bolton had first hinted at planning to betray Robb back in ACoK, well before Stannis put in the leeches around the midpoint of ASoS. It was when Robb married Jeyne that the seeds for this betrayal were sown and Bolton came into contact with Tywin and Walder. At that point, Stannis had just been defeated at Blackwater. GRRM has even confirmed the leeches had no actual effect. Actually, this also goes for Stannis fans who gloat that Stannis was the one who truly killed Joffrey for the same reason...sorry, but no. -Matt
