Publics onus to keeping Fiji clean and level headed thinking in regards to gifts from overseas dignitaries and head of states. PM Modi has given $5 million out of sheer good will as he realises that there are Indians in Fiji and he also realises that Fiji is still known as a third world country and is, as it requires overseas aid constantly to sustain a reasonable standard of living. Australia has lifted its aid to Fiji from $13 million last year to $40 million in 2014 and increasing as the stability progresses. Yes there are people living on the streets in India they know that and they also know their prosperity has escalated in the last 15 years only. Their GNP is the third in the world whilst Chinas second and USA first. In Australia there are 10000 people living on the roads and streets and Australia has a population of 24mill only and one of most prosperous countries. Give India another twenty years and they can match Chinas achievements and even more. In Australia and Sydney in particular every year on a certain weekend lots of the people from the community , volunteers, gather at the beaches, rivers ,bushes, streets and pick up rubbish out of pride and love for the city ,country and the environment. Something Fiji should adopt and prompted and primed through the school curriculum
