Pujya Sant Sri Hariram Bapa Pujya Hariram Bapa is born on06.09.1934 at Jasdan in Gujarat. His father was Late Kanjibhai Punjabhai Thakral and mother Late Kunwar bai. His Grand father was Late Dharshibhai. Dharshibhai and Param Pujya Jalaram Bapa were Gurubhai and were disciple of Gurudev Bhojalram Bapa. Young Hariram was deeply influenced by the Religious ambience in the family and this inculcated Bhakti, Seva and feeling of Tyag and Samarpan in his blood. The Mantra ‘ Ahm Brahmasmi’ left as very lasting impression on the mind of young Hariram. It is surprising that inspite of complete dedication to the down trodden in the society, he studied upto metric level. He was so engrossed in his religious leaning that he used to remain more in temples than his own residence. He used to return only when some one has come to take him back. When his father died and inspite of having full family , he left home and got ‘Diksha’ by Swami Maheshwaranandji of Sanyas Ashram, Vileparle, Mumbai. His paternal family, in search of new businesses, settled at Nagpur. He used to go on cycle to distribute food to poor people who used to beg in Temples. Once his cycle got stolen and he decided to distribute food to poors from one particular place only. He urged his brothers to start a free Anna Khestra’ like his forefathers do. Her mother got convinced and told his elder brother Sri Ratilal bhai to start distributing free food to needy from their residence ‘ Sri Ganesh Nivas’ at Gandhi Bag, Nagpur. People of Nagpur feel themselves fortunate that while following the basic principle ‘ Remember GOD and give food to poor’ of Pujya Sant Sri Jalaram Bapa, a beautiful ‘ Pujya JalaramBapa Prarthana Bhavan’ could be established at Queta colony of Nagpur by your inspiration and blessings. For last 25 years, in the Temple- Non stop recitation of Ram dhun and free distribution of food is going on. Nearly food is being distributed to about 700 Sadhus, Sants, poor persons on daily basis irrespective of Caste, creed and religion continuously for last 30 years. In the year 2006-07, by the blessings of Pujya Hariram Bapa, Sri Jalaram Satsang Mandal organised ‘ Ram Katha’ for full one year which in itself is a record. By his blessings ‘Satsang Mandal’ is organising religious functions/renditions of Ram Katha, Srimad Bhagwad Katha, Sri Patotsav, Sri Hanuman Chalisa- thought out the year on regular basis. In this chain of ‘Manav seva’ (Service to Humanities), Physiotherapy centre, Ayurvedic Aushadhalay, Homeopathic Clinic Accupressure Health Centre, Paediatric department have been started. He is true Sant. He never handles any monetary transactions; never tried to accumulate any wealth; never wished to establish any Ashram or Math in his name. He believes that ‘Sadhu’ should always be on move and serve the people throught out the country. He has been a great spirit; a great inspiration to the people to follow the humanity; principle of serving people; follow the principles of Lord Ram.
