Pull ups strong! Its 7:30am and my work out is finished! Up at 5, taught spin at at 6, and lifted! feels great to hit the gym again after a week of intense yoga, breathing and meditation practice. It was a nice break - my muscles felt well rested...in other words, a bit softer hahaha. My upper body actually feels stronger and tighter from the practice, though. There was a lot of emphasis on shoulder stabilization, strength, and lots of isometric work. However, my abs went away (well ok I did eat quite a bit when I was there) and my legs got a bit soft. I was missing the pump!! Or it could just be all in my head! Do you want to be able to lift yourself up? Im putting together some tips that will be up on my blog. Pulling exercises are great to strengthen the back muscles, improve posture, stabilize and protect the shoulders, increase body awareness and improve control, improves strength which is transferable to other sports and exercises - including yoga - and daily activities, it is a multi joint exercise and can be done anywhere! (Park, bus stop, no big deal). Stay tuned!
