Pulling the rail ride - the safe way. This trick can hurt the shins, herein me trying to teach how to do it safe and easy. (Hit the HD button if you want to freeze frames.) Firstly, make sure enough wind, at least 10 knots, more like 12-14 - a board flips much easier in higher winds. Most of those clips hereunder were in the 11-15 knot range. Try lying towards the stern of the board, putting much weight on the booms. Its actually comfortable, and safe for the legs. Herein I try to do it slowly so one can see, then faster. Call me a dag, but I like the clew dip towards the middle of the clip... If you watch to the end, am riding modern gear as well - on a Starboard SUP with a nice Severn Superlight sail - nice rig !
