Pure Bred Chocolate Labrador Retriever Needs a good home (all the crazy puppiness is long gone) SHARED by a friend of mine. I have not met Mudzy. These are very good, hard-working honest people who DO care about this dog. We bought him as a puppy from the Woods and Water Puppy Tent in 2007. He was born July 7th, 2007. We named him Mudzy because the kid’s thought he looked like a muddy dog. He was a registered chocolate lab but we did not pursue paper work and we also had him neutered. He is due for his immunization boosters next month but we will get them done for any potential adopter. Mudzy is about 100 pounds now. He is a very loving and loyal dog. Well behaved in the house. He is best friends with our cats. We keep him in the basement at night and I don’t think he’s ever messed in the house except when he was a puppy. Normally he stays outside in the day and we have an underground fence so he stays where he should. He does not like the cold so we have been keeping him inside more now since its cold out. When people come in our yard or kayaks go down the river he barks and the hair on his back stands up. But he is harmless and has never bitten anyone. Of course he lets us know when someone is in our yard and gives the impression he is very protective of our family…..keeps the traveling salesmen from sticking around too long. Now that our daughters are gone and my Wife is working more hours the poor guy doesn’t get the attention he needs. He is a very needy dog and loves to be around people. Our son is not that attached to him and we are thinking he would be better off with someone who could dedicate more attention to him. Contact is Bill Heatley
