Purely nostalgic-feeling sad and alone after returning from Pakistan.Something of mine left there,in those people on that land.A vague sorrow after finding dear homeland in such a dysfunction and utter chaos. As Emirates flight left Lahore airport just before the dawn,I recalled the past week and my heart was filled with a vague sorrow as despite trying hard I was not able to find that Pakistan which I left back 14 years ago. Life is so cumbersome for majority of the people that they are struggling for survival. As the plane flew over Gwadar I saw the land of of pakistan draped into a thick haze melting into the gulf of oman and soon it was all over-paradise once again lost. Stranded in dubai for 24 hours due to a misconnection.which provided me an opportunity to visit this surrealistically affluent emirate with its enormous airport.
