Pursuit of His Presence -- Daily Devotional ESPANOL October 25, 2013 Usted posee el tesoro Kenneth Copeland Pero tenemos este tesoro en vasos de barro, para que la excelencia del poder sea de Dios, y no de nosotros. – 2 Corintios 4:7 Hay un viejo refrán religioso que se usa especialmente entre los ministros: “Nos vamos a consumir de cansancio a causa de la obra”. Pero eso es lo que el diablo quiere, no Dios. Al enemigo le encantaría verlo trabajar hasta que “se funda” y muera; para después saltar de alegría en su funeral. No le dé esa oportunidad. Tómese el tiempo necesario para alimentar su ser interior, de ese modo no se “fundirá”. Nutra su espíritu hasta que aumente su fuerza; y sea como una llama luminosa y fuerte siempre. Sea transformado de gloria en gloria: «…mirando a cara descubierta como en un espejo la gloria del Señor…» (2 Corintios 3:18). Aumente el vataje de su generador espiritual al dedicarle tiempo a las cosas del Señor. Quite su atención de las cosas del mundo, y véalo a Él. Empiece a trabajar con Dios, en lugar de trabajar para Él. ¿A dónde debe dirigir su mirada para ver a Jesús? Primero, a la Palabra; y segundo, a su propio espíritu. En el segundo punto es donde tenemos problemas. Podemos ver a Jesús grande y magnífico en la Palabra. Nos lo imaginamos sentado majestuosamente en el cielo a la diestra del Padre. Sin embargo, no hemos desarrollado nuestra habilidad para verlo morando en nuestro interior. Y ésa es la clave. Es menester poseer la habilidad de sobrevivir a la presión de estos días. Es importante que vea a Jesús en su interior tan claro como lo ve en la Palabra. Necesita ser consciente ?no sólo con su mente, sino con cada una de las fibras de su ser— que mayor es quien vive en usted que el que está en el mundo. Nunca olvide lo siguiente: una vez que comprenda que el Espíritu y el poder mismo de Jesús habitan en usted, nada —ninguna deuda, enfermedad, o problema de ningún tipo— podrá derrotarlo. Cuando en su interior la imagen de Jesús, quien habita en usted, se vuelva más grande que la imagen de los problemas que lo rodean, vencerá todos los retos que el diablo traiga a su camino. La respuesta de todo se encuentra dentro de usted en este momento. Todo lo que necesite se halla en su espíritu. Todo el dinero… toda la salud… toda la fuerza… toda la sabiduría… ¡todo esto se encuentra en usted porque ahí habita Jesús! Juan 17:20-26 © 2008 Eagle Mountain International Church aka Kenneth Copeland Ministries All rights Pursuit of His Presence -- Daily Devotional ENGLISH October 25, 2013 You Have the Treasure Kenneth Copeland We have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us. – 2 Corinthians 4:7 There’s an old religious cliché that used to be especially popular among ministers: “We’re just going to burn ourselves out for God,” they’d say. That’s not what God wants for any of us. That’s what the devil wants! He would love to see you work yourself until you “burn out” and die. He’d kick up his heels at your funeral! Don’t give him that opportunity. Take time to feed your inner man so you won’t burn out. Keep feeding your spirit until you increase in strength. Burn brighter and stronger every year. Be transformed from glory to glory by “beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord” (2 Corinthians 3:18). Increase the wattage of your spiritual generator by spending time focusing on the Lord. Begin to work with Him instead of just for Him. Take your focus off the things of the world and look at Him. Where must you look to see Jesus? First, in the Word. Second, in your own spirit. We can see Jesus great and magnificent in the Word. We can envision Him sitting grandly in heaven at the right hand of the Father. But we haven’t developed our ability to see Him living inside us. And that is the key. You must have that ability to survive the pressure in these last days. You’ll need to be able to see Jesus within you just as clearly as you can see Him in the Word. You’ll have to know—not just with your brain, but with every fiber of your being—that He who is within you is greater than he that is in the world. Never forget this: Once you truly see that the very Spirit and power of Jesus resides on the inside of you, nothing—no amount of debt, no disease, no problem of any kind—will be able to defeat you. When your inner image of the Jesus who lives in you becomes bigger than your image of the problems around you, you’ll conquer any challenge the devil brings your way. The answer to everything is inside you right now. Everything you’ll ever need is in your spirit. All the money...all the health...all the strength...all the wisdom...all of it is in you because that’s where Jesus is! Remember, we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us!
