Push-ups #Workoutoftheweek Very little gives you an excuse not to be able to do these. I like press-ups because you can vary the intensity according to your strength and fitness. Beginner: start on your knees. Intermediate: Get off your knees - you can always drop back to them to get a few extra reps in. Advanced: start experimenting with number of reps you can do in a minute; place your feet on a step; use a wide grip to activate your lat muscles (wings on your back); use a narrow grip for more triceps (I hate this one but Im working on it) Tip: Focus on keeping your core tight so the length of your body remains straight and strong. Please note that these are my Workouts of the Week however I suggest that you consult with your physician before beginning any exercise program.
