Put the final stitch in last night in my first wholecloth quilt, The Bunny Field. The bunnies are from a Mountain Mist Pattern called Bunnies, and the feathers and border are Judy Allen patterns. The fabric is Michael Miller Cotton Couture Aqua; the batting is Quilters Dream Wool; the thread is Aurifil 40wt. No intended recipient ... a wholecloth has been on my bucket list for quite some time. Rather than jump into a bedsize quilt I decided to make something smaller to see if I wanted to do a larger one ... I do. I have a king size design on paper, the fabric and batting has been purchased and I have to make a decision on the thread, but I have a few projects to clean up before I start on it.
