Putin’s position was expressed by his press secretary, Dmitry Peskov, in an interview to Komsomolskaya Pravda: “........ Ukraine and Russia are brotherly nations and partners, while any interference in Ukrainian internal affairs is impermissible.” How can Ukraine and Russia be brotherly nations when: + The Russians leaders created the Holodomor, the Genocide of the Ukrainian people with the starving murder of 12 million Ukrainians. + Creating the Siberian Gulag slave work camps where millions were sent in cattle trains + Execution of thousands of Ukrainians upon return from Germany after WW2 + Enforced Communist rule for decades + Creation of the Iron Curtain and convincing their people that the west were all living in poverty. and sending their soldiers into Ukraine wearing Ukrainian uniforms. For almost a century, Russian rulers have everything possible to destroy the heritage, culture and language of the Ukrainian people.
