Puts it all in perspective! Feeling rightfully small, yes. But, also the knowledge we are as big as the heavens, too. Our spirit. Our compassion. Our force. It’s exemplified in a thousand faiths. Just taking the Christian one, “Tell us, PLEASE, what is the kingdom of heaven like?” … “Imagine a mustard seed. It is like the very smallest of all seeds. But, when it falls on tilled ground (the compassionate, striving soul), it puts forth a branch. And it becomes a shelter for all the birds of heaven.” - Christ. … This puts into thought the truth of, “it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich person to enter the kingdom of God.” … We must make ourselves very small. We must reject money and wealth. We must embrace compassion for ALL beings. If you think it sounds so silly, think of someone you’ve recently lost. Think of how BRIEF this life is. Think of the interesting duality in which we live. And, our given permission to affect this world, for good or for bad. And, again, … how crazily brief. … I reject this culture and it’s materialistic, corporate, and soulless capitalistic message. It won’t be there to comfort me on my way out. We should all do so. “Love is all you need.” It’s actually true.
