Hi! Im Roxi, an adorable Miniature Smooth Haired Dachshund girl. I was born on July 20, 2009, but despite my young age, Ive had had some misfortune in life. You see, I came to MaxFund with my back legs paralyzed. But I am a very optimistic sort, and Im making GREAT progress day by day. In fact, my foster family reports that I am now able to stand on all fours without assistance for several seconds! And I can get around just fine on my wheels (mobility cart)! Im an engaging, attentive, and playful little girl. I always have time for cuddles and scratches! If you have a piece of carrot for me, or a Kong with a little peanut butter, I will be your best friend forever. Despite my mobility issues, I love playing with toys, and my favorite game is fetch! I enjoy being outside and exploring. I believe in taking advantage of all the recreational activities our great state offers, so if you love going to the mountains, I am SO there with you! The MaxFund clinic can tell you more about my special needs (mainly a little more help and training on the outside-pottying thing), and I can tell you that I am ready to be with my forever family NOW!
