Q - Di po ba dapat sarado ang malls, markets, stores, offices, etc pag araw ng pagsamba? A - 1. Lahat naman ng araw ay dapat araw ng pagsamba. So, isara ang lahat araw-araw? 2. Bakit ipasasara ang mga yan, para walang competition ang religion? Why doesnt religion make its activities really powerfully healing, nourishing and instructive para manalo ito sa competition? O kaya, gawing relevant part of peoples lives, not an adversarial competitor? 3. Sino ang magpapasara sa lahat ng yan? There is not one singular authority that can do that, except in totalitarian or religious states where there is no division between church and state. But if that happens, what you will have is state-enforced religiosity. Walang freedom or human rights. Nangyari lang yan noong araw sa Israel kasi there was no division between temple and the state. 4. Isara na rin ang mga hospitals, clinics, police stations, border patrols, police and armed forces operations, airports, piers, bus operations, tollways, installations that rnan and manage power, water and food distribution, etc. Stop operations of ambulances, fire fighters, rescue teams, etc. Kung may ie-exempt for whatever reason, whats the point in enforcing this regulation? Actually, there is a deeper historical, cultural and racial reasons for this OT regulation, including the ones on idols, diet, festivals, circumsciion, etc. A deeper study on why Israel had such regulations, what purposes they served and what results they were supposed to achieve for the nation would shed light on these issues and hopefully guide well meaning, present-day believers unto contextualized, updated, reasonable, practical, sensible and doable religiosity.
