Q TANGO Quartet Saturday March 15th We are proud to announce that the Q Tango Quartet will be joining us at the Gran Milonga on Saturday night starting between 11:30pm and 12:00am they will play around 10 tandas. How blessed we are to have such dear friends. To our delight Erskine from QTANGO contacted us last Sunday night and said he has a quartet available and they all want to come to the festival, Is their room for a quartet? he said. We looked at the extra special plans we already have for Saturday night and said, YES! Nothing could make the night more perfect than to add a live tango quartet! So just like that we now have one of some of our favorite people coming to dance and play music for us on Saturday night around 11:30pm. There is still a special surprise on Saturday night just as QTANGO begins to play be there by 11:15 to catch tango history. We are sharing something precious with our tango friends. Then we are sharing our great friends from QTANGO! Maximiliano Cristiani & Jesica Arfenoni join the Tucson Tango Festival Maximiliano Cristiani & Jesica Arfenoni join the Tucson Tango Festival in 2014! Last years world champion social dancers, Maximiliano & Jesica will be teaching a masters class for you this year. They may even play a larger role depending on time and circumstance. We are only just now working them into the schedule.... stay tuned!!!!!!
