Q: Why do you have a problem with mothers being acknowledged for playing both roles of mom and dad? A: Because they cant. I fully commend and respect and appreciate the power and resilience and strength and love that comes along with being a single mother. BUT I also feel that there are so many single mothers partially due to the mentality and acceptance of the mentality that fathers arent needed. A woman can not raise a child without a man because it is not MEANT to be that way. It takes two for a purpose. There has to be SOME man to fill that void, a teacher, a coach, an uncle, a brother, a grandfather SOMEONE..A man IS needed or that child will grow up with issues that stem from that male void and I just want people to understand that the importance of MEN and the importance of fathers..
