QUESTION FROM A COTC FRIEND: I am keen to hear from gluten free people about how they have managed if either they or their children have needed hospitalisation? Do hospitals cater for gluten free? (we are gluten intolerant not coeliac). Or have you had to provide all the food? Did you have someone bringing it in daily or did you take a stock before you went (if it was a planned stay)? Did you have any problems with staff? We may be looking at hospital time and I am a bit nervous about how to manage this! Any feedback much appreciated :-) ME: When I had my twins and spent 8 nights in hospital they did try and cater for me but I got boiled white rice and frozen fish (and it WAS still frozen!?) so I had family and friends bring in food.
