QUESTION OF THE DAY - Dec 29th, 2014 Do you have your Christmas tree down yet and if not ... when will it come down? We put our tree UP almost 2 weeks to the day before Christmas ... sometime around the 12th or 15th. And we start taking it down as the last car is going out the lane on Christmas Day. And I was SO SO ready this year. It just seems like the weather was so dreary during December. And Kim and I were so swamped with blog work and Geezer and I havent hardly been out of the house except for church, groceries and nursing home visits for months. And then with the Christmas tree in front of the front door ... the only place we have to PUT it ... I was really feeling claustrophobic. Now Im a homebody and LOVE being home all the time ... but Ive got to be able to see the outside world. lol And it just wasnt happening to the point I needed it to happen ... with that tree in front of the front door. I may run to Hobby Lobby in the next day or so and see if they have any of those slender Cabin trees left and if they do Ill get us one to have next Christmas ... So for us ... Christmas is behind us. We dont do anything for New Years except cook for the two of us and New Years Eve is on Wednesday this year ... so there will be Prayer Meeting ... SO - Do you have your Christmas tree down yet and if not ... when will it come down? Its the Question of the Day ...
