QUESTION for all my Facebook Friends . . . have any of you encountered a conversation with a Facebook account hacker? Today, I was contacted by a friend . . . that I have not heard from in some time. Simple greeting . . . Hi, how are you? I replied . . . then a brief conversation followed. Topics and questions did not sound right. I then asked 3 simple questions . . . where did we meet; what is the name of my kids; and what is the name of your kids? No answers . . . just a remark about the money I have won. I then determined that this was not the real party. MY QUESTION. . . . I have been told not to open suspicious emails due their ability to carry a virus. Does the same hold true for a FB conversation? What would be any other reason to hack into a FB account? Please help me, I am extremely ignorant about many of these social media things.
