QUESTION from the inbox: My penpal of 4 years was my boyfriend and everything was going so well but hes been incarcerated for 13 years and still has 2 more. I love him but his mentality is that of a hardened criminal, he s emotional less. For those that have ever dealt with someone whose been down for over a decade you prolly understand what I mean by he has no emotions. Doesnt show them doesnt care for them doesnt care for people. The final straw was when he said we are only friends nothing more and lets go back and take it slow. Okay after 4 years we can start over fine but prior to this I was his wifey not officially married but he claimed to love me. Idk its crazy because he is somewhat institutionalized and I cant deal any more because I keep getting hurt. Im just tired of being the only one with a heart. Well I wrote him and told him that I was moving on with my life and will always be his friend but I needed a few months to recollect my thoughts. We wrote back and said I was his enemy and that its best to be with him then against him and he ended the letter with that. Needless to say I got scared because he is in there for killing his best friend at the time. Should I be scared of him that hes going to come kill me when he gets out? #iLoveMyInmate
