QUESTION – How many of us have been passionate about something and gave it our all to find out it was all wrong? Paul used to kill as part of his duty. There were laws in place that were impossible to follow and he enforced the law. Then his eyes were opened and he could see. He had an experience that changed his whole being; the Damascus Road experience. The awesome part is, that same passion he had when he THOUGHT he was doing the right thing, he used when he KNEW he was doing the right thing. He preached the Word of God to the Gentiles and was confident in himself. He got what he needed from Jesus Christ himself and didn’t need the approval of anybody else. “I want you to know, brothers and sisters, that the gospel I preached is not of human origin. I did not receive it from any man, nor was I taught it; rather, I received it by revelation from Jesus Christ” – Galatians 1:11-12 Sometimes we have to check ourselves and make sure are passion is in the right place!
