Qatar Airways becomes Official Airline Partner of Professional Golf Tour of India Qatar Airways has signed a partnership with Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI), the official sanctioning body of professional golf in the country. As part of the agreement, Qatar Airways becomes the ‘Official Airline Partner’ of PGTI till the end of 2015, as per a release. The airline, which supports golfing tournaments, aims to increase the popularity of the game through the association with PGTI. Henry Moses, Country Manager India, Qatar Airways, said, “Through this partnership, we will definitely generate a lot of positive response from our Frequent Flyer members, premium cabin passengers, and corporate customers, as many of them share a passion for golf. This association will definitely see Qatar Airways as the first premium choice of travel for them.” Padamjit Sandhu, Director, PGTI, said, “We are proud to have a leading global brand like Qatar Airways come on board as the ‘Official Airline Partner’.
