Qatar Airways will boost its services to Thailand next month with the introduction of direct flights to Phuket. Commencing on 26 October 2014, the airline will operate daily direct flights to the Thai resort island. Services will depart Doha every day at 0700, arriving in Phuket at 1740 the same day. The schedule of the return flights however, will be split, with services departing Phuket International Airport at 1930 every Monday, Wednesday and Sunday, and 1905 on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. With the upcoming winter holidays, this is a great opportunity for travellers from the Middle East, Europe, Africa and the Americas to plan their break with a beach vacation to Phuket. Visitor numbers to Phuket are on the rise and Qatar Airways will look to take advantage of the non-stop connections to the city in the days to come.
