Qazi Nisar death anniversary Shabir Shah pays tributes to Shaheed-e-Millat Dr Qazi Nisar Srinagar, June 18 (KNS): On his 20th death anniversary, Hurriyat Conference Jammu Kashmir leader Shabir Ahmad Shah has paid glowing tributes to Shaheed-e-Millat Mirwazi Qazi Nisar. Highlighting the religious, political and educational contribution of Shaheed Qazi Nisar, Shah termed him the “wonderful” orator, preacher, educationist, and analyst of his time. “In this connection, I appeal the people of Islamabad to observe complete shutdown on the anniversary of Shaheed Mirwaiz Qazi Nisar,” Shah said, according to a statement issued to KNS. Shah also paid tributes to all other martyrs who laid their precious lives for the freedom struggle since 1947 and reiterated the pledge of continuing the freedom struggle until the oppressive rule is vanished from this part of the subcontinent. Terming the incessant arrest of HCJK leader Mushtaq-ul-Islam as worst example of political vengeance, Shah said it is very inhuman to fabricate the political opponent s in false cases and then re-arrest them. “Same is the case with Masarat Alam Bhat which is extremely condemnable,” he said. Shah said the freedom movement cannot n be suppressed by these arbitrary arrests or by killing the freedom lovers. “The sacrifices of martyrs and the steadfastness of pro-freedom people is a valuable asset of our freedom movement. The nations who achieved freedom from oppressors have laid the sacrifices and we are hopeful that freedom is near,” Shah added.
