Queen: This review is for those people who havent watched the movie as yet. 3 words for these people, GO FOR IT!!!!. I like surprises and the movies which gives you everything when you expected the less. Frankly saying, I didnt have intention to watch the movie but be it critics or my friends or other people who have watched this movie, they all have loved it and I am no exclusion. There are few movies which portrays journey of a woman and finding her true self in the journey. Such movies are: English Vinglish, Highway and now Queen. At point of times you would feel like watching another version of English Vinglish but who cares when the outcome is so nice and believing. After Alia Bhatts performance in Highway, the second performance that can be nominated for the Best Actress award this year is of Kangana Ranaut in this movie. She was kind of lost when she decided to do comedy movies which gave disasters like No Problem and Rascals, but she is back in her true Avtaar through this movie. She is just awesome in the whole movie. Her body language, her hold on the character, her one liners, everything is just perfect. The characterization is just up to the mark and everybody fits in the character perfectly. Special mention about Lisa Haydon (Vijayalaxmi) who will remind you of Deepika Padukone of Cocktail. If you are a woman/lady/girl, this movie is a must watch for you. The movie represents women liberation in true sense. 3.80 stars from my side. WATCH IT!!!!!
