Queer Memoir was amazing yesterday. Gutsy hilarious and intense stories from Jay Toole, Stephanie Schroeder, Lisa Haas, Nadia Awad, Morgan Goode and Kay Ulanday Barrett. So interesting to hear our stories in such a different environment and loved watching the faces of the straightfolks as they walked in and out. I cant even pick out a favorite moment because it was all so weird and great. Also, Nadia gave me a great a idea for a Queer Memoir theme: Queer Memoir How Law and Order SVU misrepresented my story. Since the point of SVU seems to be about misrepresenting folks stories (I think there was even a furries are psychopaths episode!) I think wed definitely have enough for a full show. Anyone interested?
