Question- Our little guys are 9 and 1/2 Months from their birthday; although they were born 5 weeks early I hear we go by gestational age-- ie; they are technically closer to 8 and 1/2 months old.. About when have YOU ALL seen the catch up time to be (the discrepancy gap, where due date and day born, closes?) if your little ones were born about a month early? Is it by a year old? Or 18mo?? Or around there? My twins- although consistently SMALLER than their singleton peers-- (And older brothers were when babies)- they honestly seem to be doing things so much EARLIER than their big brothers?? (I didnt expect this!) Holding bottles earlier-- crawling earlier- and now COASTING!! I mean close to walking!! I cant understand it? (Both my older sons- who are both bright- they didnt walk til 13 months- hold bottles til much later-- etc etx) Even the fine motor skills- (ESP one son- his pincer grasp down pat at? Oh 7 months?? Its crazy? Anyways. Hence I ask-- the being born 5 weeks early age gap must be closed now? Right?
