Question: Does any one have experience with beet pulp, or hay extender pellet or Lucerne Farm Forage. I am trying to find a decent supplement to hay for the winter without adding grain. I am especially interested if any one feeds beet pulp to their bucks and what is the result. I am kind of tired of all the hay waste and wondering if they are getting enough nutrition in the winter with no pasture. I dont have my hay tested and so never know the quality. I offered the Lucerne Forage to them today and they loved it. The boys also love the beet pulp. The feed store owner was promoting the hay extender but it has soy hulls and wheat midlings. Any ideas?
