Question for Josh Dubin that perhaps other SCV residents would find interesting: Many of us SCV residents have active lifestyles, enjoying the trails etc. But given the recent stories about the dog attack on horse riders, and previous stories about muggers on the bike trails, what are the perhaps most appropriate self-defense tools someone might carry with themselves during early morning or early evening outtings? (Other than self-awareness, etc) Is pepper spray or other type of self defense tool reliable and perhaps considered appropriate for this purpose?
