Question for all the UK based stonemasons - I have just done a weeks work for a very dodgy stone firm in Holland Park, London. They have a reputation for rarely paying their sub contractors on time and have gone into administration recently ( and reopened under new management ). What can I do to insure that I do get paid everything Im owed? As there seems to be more work with them in the coming month, is there something like a contract (JCT?) that I can get them to sign backdated to when I started on Monday 24th to cover me if they choose to ignore my demands to pay promptly? gareth
